I've deleted my Fotopage(for the 2nd time)due to some probs...
1)It took so long to open my fotopage.
2)Some moron left nasty comment in one of the entries.
3)Sometimes when I upload photos, they dont' show up on the page, even though I've tried for 1000x.
Photo blogging sucks!

Dean's list and bowling...

Collected my dean's list ceterficate today (should've collect it one year ago).
I notice in my class some people actually said "LOL" when they're laughing. Whatever happens to just laughing? Hehe...blame it on the chatting and Internet.
People asked me to join their bowling team for that civil engineering bowling day. Or they'll suggest I form a team with my bf. And my responses are like:

"No way,Jose!"

"Not in a million years!"

"Over my dead body!"

I had warned people about my "bowling skills" (if I have any, that is) and that I might cause their team to lose (remember the Sunway incident) but they're just won't listen. No way I'm gonna humiliate myself in front of the entire CE department.

On second thoughts, even though Sogo is my least favourite shopping mall, it does have some advantages. I mean, where else can you find Sisley handbags 50% off?
By the way, yesterday I found this expensive pink Elle backpack that I bought last year ended up in the discounted racks :(
---------------------------------------------------------
I promise myself I will try my best to enjoy life as a student coz everyone who has worked said that they wanted so badly to go back in time to when they were studying. Even Aween also said working sucks.

Handbag-shopping at Sogo with Aween

Today, Aween asked me to go to Sogo with her. I don't really like Sogo, but I like the purpose of us going there: shopping for handbags.
Aween is working now and she needs a new handbag that is suitable for both office attire and casual wear.
She did the right thing bringing me along.
She doesn't like structured bags so I showed her this gorgeous brown striped handbag and she immediately fell in love with it.
Well, I'm not gonna stand there and watch her shop right? So I bought myself a Benetton hobo bag (in the cutest shade of pink ever) and skinny jeans(not a great look on people 5' and below, but I don't care, I want it!).
I wonder, why is Sogo having a sale ALL THE TIME? I wish KLCC is more like it.
As usual, the mall is PACKED. I hate the crowd there, everyone was being rude. I was really pissed off when this Chinese lady was trying on like, zillions of outfits and insisted on asking her friend's opinion for every outfit she tried on. We had to wait for ages until Aween finally got her turn to try on a couple of jeans. But just when it was Aween's turn to go in, one of the lady's friends asked Aween IF SHE CAN CUT THE QUEUE AND GO IN FIRST INSTEAD?
Unbelieveable.
Even the woman at the McDonalds ice cream counter was bloody rude. I was waiting for my turn and she just keep staring at me. So I thought that maybe she's waiting for me to order so I asked her, do I have to place the order to her or what? But she just said, "No, you just queue and wait for your turn." I felt like a 5-year-old kid being scold like that. I wish she'll get hit by a lorry and die.
The toilets at Sogo are the WORST. You pay 30cents to use an extremely dirty toilet. There's not even toilet paper in there.Luckily I brought some tissue with me.
On our way home in the LRT, there's this guy sitting opposite me and his friend was standing beside him. I was wearing a red t-shirt and so was he. Then his friend said (loudly), "Tu awek kau, sama2 pakai baju merah." That guy smiled and asked (in a voice loud enough to be heard by everyone in the train), "Yang ni ke?" WHILE POINTING DIRECTLY AT ME. His other friends were looking at me and smiling. Actually, practically everyone in the entire deck was looking at me.The humiliation!
Those guys continued talking about me, but I couldn't hear them clearly. Asked Aween what were they saying, and Aween couldn't hear them either.
I wonder, what kind of people have the guts to point at girls and admit that she is your girlfriend? Only ugly, brainless losers would do that. Actually I felt sympathy for him. Maybe he's so ugly that no one wants to date him. So all he can do is make-believe that the total stranger sitting in front him in the train is his girlfriend and he lives in fantasyland all the time. As if! I hate lowlifes like that.
Aween said that that idiot and his friends had ruined our day. Imagine, I was just minding my own business, chatting with my friend and suddenly some morons just talk about me and drawing some unwanted attention to myself. Is there a country where people aren't rude and mind their own business? I wanna migrate there.
As soon as I arrived home, I quickly took a shower coz I felt so dirty. My hair was oily and urghh imagine the bacteria on my skin after all the people I came in contact with??

Earlier this week my dad was admitted to Ampang Puteri Hospital for an endoscopy. He's been complaining about gastric. The result is this: he does have gastric, he has some torn ligaments somewhere and it affects one of the nerves (so now he has to go for physiotheraphy every week) AND HE HAS A GROWTH IN HIS STOMACH.
Luckily, it's on his appendix so the doctor decided to have his appendix cut off. As simple as that. Only a minor operation.
But what isn't ok is the way the stupid doctor broke the news to my parents.
"You might have cancer."
Just those four, cold, cruel words.
I wonder, does he learn ethics while in university?
I guess not. Maybe he's too busy learning about stomach and liver and intestines that he forgot his manners.
When he said that, my mum couldn't speak. It's so harsh, right? And my dad cleared his throat nervously and tried to change the subject into something more light and chit-chatty. He complained about his milk intolerance problem.
You know what the doctor replied?
"Kalau dah tak boleh minum susu tu, tak payah la minum."
My God.
You told someone he might be having cancer and then you snap at him for drinking milk.
He is so heartless and cold and cruel that I think he must be an animal or something. Humans have compassion. Even animals have compassion! This guy is worst than animals, I dunno what to call him.
The worst part is, my dad has hypertension and his blood pressure shot up sky high when he heard that he's probably having cancer.
Bodoh kan that doctor??
The result lab test haven't been confirmed yet and he's making a big deal out of it. Jumping to conclusion. Making people worry. I think his job is dull and tedious and boring and he wants drama, maybe he's been watching too much ER or something.
Fortunately he realized his stupidity (he should've check the medical history of his patients before attending to them. Being so blunt on a person with high blood pressure is a really bad idea, that idiot should know that. It's not rocket science) so he gave my father pills for high blood pressure.
I asked my mum, who's the bloody doctor. She said I should remember coz he's the one who treated me when I got the worst gastric of my life after my environmental engineering exam. I said I don't remember who that fool was, I only remember nice doctors.

The secrets of physical attraction

Came across this interesting article in the News Straits Times newspaper today, titled “The Secrets of Physical Attraction.” The article pointed out on some common topics like body size, breast size, height ,skin colour etc etc. But there’s something new I learnt from that article- women with low waist/hip ratio (WHR) is considered as attractive.
It explains why men find more curvy (but not neccessarily overweight) figures as attractive.
To calculate WHR, divide waist measurement by hip measurement. Attraction decreases as WHR increases.
Most women’s WHR falls between 0.7 and 1.0. WHR of 0.7 or 0.8 are most attractive :) . Unlike breasts, where bigger doesn’t mean better, attraction increases as WHR decreases, even if waist is artificially cinch in with a belt or corset.
OK,now I feel as if I’m writing the discussion part of a lab report.
A woman’s WHR isn’t neccessarily the lower the thinner she is, it is about how small her waist is compared with hips. Young women can be chubby but still have low WHR.
As women get older, their waist thicken and their fertility goes down in proportion to their age. That explains why a slim wasist, a signal of fertility, is attractive.
One more issue that the article emphasize on is hairlessness. Get this—hairlessness on women is perceived as good because it indicates youth and fertility. Then read this—total hairlessness on women and men is not attractive, as it is a sign of pre-pubescence and the inability to have children. What the...? Hairlessness is good, but at the same time it is also bad. I guess the best thing is to have the right amount of hairs(not too much or too little).
Another thing written about is the symmetry of a person’s facial features and body(I hate this theory and I just hate to admit that it’s true). Apparently, it is more important than skin colour. The healthiest people are able to develop symmetry in their faces and body. After this I will have plastic surgery and make my lips more symmetrical, my eyes evenly spaced between one another, my nose right in the middle of my face, my cheekbones and jaw more proportionate...hmm what else? Guess that’s enough. Wonder how much with that costs? Haha.
By the way, I accidently used the Turnaround concentrate twice a day instead of once a day *worry worry*

Just a random post

A good day. Most of the people in class are finally being nice to me.
------------------------------------------------------------------
One thing abt growing older--you realize the real value of money. Last time, I used to take things for granted. My life had never been a lavish one (I don't always get what I want) but it had been easy. My parents were like a bank, got a reasonable allowance from them each week and I never really give a thought about how much they earn, how much they have to fork out each month etc. However just now I found out the real truth from my mum. She's no longer working, so my dad is the one who supports our family. He earns about 8k per month, which is more than enough I think, for someone who has only 1 kid. But actually, he doesn't get exactly 8k. Oh nooo. 9% of the salary goes to EPF, and when i minus 8k with the money he has to pay for the car, the bank loan, the money he gives my grandmother every month, he's left with around 5k only. I didn't dare to include all the bills( electricity, water, phone & Internet, astro) and the grocery money and the money he gives to my mom and me.I don't even wanna think about how much he had left. And there's the stupid tax he has to pay.
After discovering this I'd revised my wish list and crossed out some items. I don't need a sling bag, I got plenty of bags already. And I really don't need the mixed tape necklace(I wear the white gold necklace my bf gave me all the time or the pink-n-black hairband(hairbands don't suit me anymore, plus I already got lots of them). But I still wanna buy long, flowy skirts and some Clinique stuffs.Heehee.
Also,I realized that to live a comfortable life, you have to earn at least 4k. MUST WORK HARD & STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT CE. And I can forget about my ambition to become a housewife. I need a job that can let me use Clinique 3-step and have a Dorothy Perkins wardrobe.
FROM NOW ON I WILL...
1.think wisely before buying something(exception for cute bags)
2.power off the electricity when not in use
3.save water
4.use the Internet when needed only and not out of boredom
I WILL NOT...
1.buy books which cost over RM15(exception for textbooks)
2.buy crappy magazines
-------------------------------------------------------------
Hmm I notice nowadays that people no longer value love and relationship. Seems like most people don't consider it special anymore. I see guys having girlfriends checking other girls out and girls who are already in a relationship dating other guys. Call me boring, but I'm monogamous and loyal and yes, I do believe in soulmate. I'm against multi-dating or whatever it is that people call it these days. I mean, if you already found the right one for you, why bother seeing someone else and waste your time?

This sem is so boring I have nothing to blog about...

Too bad today is Wednesday AND public holiday. Can't go home, still have to stay here in Uniten coz I got class tomorrow. *Sigh*
Went to Sunway Pyramid with the bf today. Ate at Carl's Jr for the first time. Their ads that I've seen before, about how the size of the burger in the ad is actually actual size, and they really mean it! The burger is HUGE. We ordered the one with beef, onion ring and bacon and it tastes really good.
We ordered one burger only, shared it, and we couldn't even finish it. Yet, I managed to stay full until 5pm! Amazing. We also ordered medium french fries which I think is equivalent to extra large McDonalds fries, IF there is extra large McD fries.
Hmm what else did we do today?Oh yes we shared a grande frappucino juice blend at Starbucks.
By 4pm, I'm already back at my empty little apartment, feeling all lonely and sad again.

Told my parents that project management sucks and then they gave me all the management reading materials they can get their hands on. My dad gave me this book titled "What Every Manager MUST know: A Step by Step Guide." Written by some guy called Steiner (I think it's the same guy who came up with the Steiner model I learnt in sports management class last semester). Anyway, I only manage to read 2 pages of that book. And then I fell asleep.

Fluid mechanics test 1

Fluid test this morning. Dragged myself out of bed (really hard, but I managed to). The test is 2 hours, but after one hour I left. and no, it's not because it's easy. It's just that, I finished early and I'm sick of waiting and checking and wondering if whatever I scribbled in the answer sheet is correct or not. So I went back to my apartment, landed on my bed and slept from 10am until 2pm.
Now that the test is over, I'm really happy coz I can watch South Park and update my Fotopage, and there won't be any tests until the 29th :)

Confessions of a procrastinator

Fluid test is next week, and M.O.M test is the following week and the coming week after that I have Islamic quiz and the week before mid term break is the Islamic mid term exam. And my worst habit--procrastinating. It's like everytime I wanna study, I said "Well, if I could just watch ONE episode of South Park and then only I will study." But one episode, followed by two and three and four and I still have not study! Or I will decide "OK, I will play one game of sudoku, only ONE, and then I will study." But after solving, like, ten puzzles, I ended up surfing the Internet instead of studying!!
Is there any special pills sold in pharmacies that can kill this horrible procrastination virus in my body?? Coz if there is, I will definitely buy it.
OK,this is stupid. I know very well that the only cure for procratination is will power, which I seem to lack of.
Anyway, Koko is growing big now. Well, big isn't the right word actually, she's Siamese. She's long. When I first saw her when I came home yesterday, she reminds me of roti John.Haha.
I wonder if cats experience mood swings as they're turning into adult cats? I mean, when people reach puberty, we go through mood swings, feeling awkward with our own body and stuffs. Koko seems depressed and she never cuddle up to me,she never even come near me. It's bad enough that people in your class doesn't talk to you, and now you come home, and your cat act like you don't exist.
Asked my mum whether cats become moody when they mature. My mum said that Koko's moody probably because she had her womb taken out. Mum said that even women who had tubectomy will experience depression after some time.
I never felt like I have a pet, even though Koko is staying under the same roof as mine. I wish my mum will come to her senses one day and agree to sell her off at some pet store.

Skin test

Went to Sg.Wang today. Had a free skin test at the Clinique counter. I've always thought that I have OILY SKIN, with LARGE PORES.
But the skin test result is this: I have COMBINATION SKIN(oily T-zone and dry around the eye area), burns easily coz I'm moderately fair and I've got SMALL PORES.
I can't believe it.
The guy at the counter(or is a woman?I'm not sure) told me to stop exfoliating so much, coz my pores aren't huge and too much exfoliating will only make my skin drier or something like that. All these time I've been so obsessed with my skin, always trying new scrubs coz I get so self-concious whenever someone pointed out that my pores are so obvious!
He/She reccommended 3-Step Skincare Type II. It cost RM343 for the whole set :-/

New year blues

Not a good start of the year.
I'm at home now, nursing a bad flu.Didn't see the doctor though. Just take 1000mg of vitamin C, Clarinase 24 Hour and sore throat lozenges. And force myself to chug down 2L of water, even though it taste real bad with my sore throat and all.
All I wanted to do today was wear my nightie all day long and watch tv. Instead, I spent hours typing in my laptop (lab reports, emails etc).
One more thing to add to the new year resolution list: LEARN A NEW KNOWLEDGE EVERY DAY.
What I learnt today: How to write a proper mathematical equation using Microsoft Words (I know,I know, after 3 years in university.Don't laugh ok!)
