Announcement!

I won't be available from 26th October 2009 - 3rd November 2009!

FINAL EXAM!

There will be no updates from me during this period.I have exam even on WEEKENDS, so very sorry, I won't be able to respond to your party invites etc etc (hehe the way I say it macam la I ni popular sangat ramai orang nak jumpa). But I have to tell you that, coz sometimes I would have to say NO to people's invitations coz I have exams, but they accuse me of being stuck up (which I'm not). I'm not stuck up, I'm having exams. OK whatever.

Anyway, wish me luck! And please pray that I pass my Foundation Engineering paper :(

And REMEMBER, I'm not stuck up and sombong. I have to sit for my final exams. =)

Keep that in mind!

Hello how are you?

I'm NOT good.

Today I'm supposed to study 2 chapters of Foundation, 2 chapters of RC and 4 topics of Numec if I don't want to suffer during the finals. Will I be able to do all these?

No! Coz I've just realized that I haven't updated my final year project logbook for ages. And I have to make lots of correction for the RC project final report. And I have to prepare the Powerpoint slides for the final year project presentation this Friday.

When can I start studying???

I haven't been eating healthily lately. I never skip meals, but I only eat small portions of food. I don't have the appetite to eat when I'm stressed like this. I only have the urge to eat chocolates. So chocolate has been my staple food for weeks now.

And I've been depending a lot on caffeine now. Not good! Now I'm always sleepy and tired all the time, even caffeine doesn't work on me.

LOL

I've made a promised to myself I won't blog or spend too much time on the Internet until all my tests finishes. But I did something silly and I just have to write it here...

Today I studied Highway & Transport lab. I made some short notes and I was so freaking tired I actually wrote this in the notes...

FACTORS AFFECTING TRAFFIC FLOW:

1) Lane width
2) Accessorize purse
3) Revlon eyeshadow
4) Superdrug moisturizer

NO KIDDING!

OK, it's time to rest.

Why staying at home is much better than staying in Uniten's on-campus apartment

1. Can save a lot of money. At home my mum will cook. In Uniten I'd have to buy greasy, high-cholestrol food. Or go waste my money at the restaurants in Alamanda. And the cost of apartment rental per semester is about the same with the total cost of petrol and toll for 1 semester.

2. No need to worry about lizards falling on top of my head anymore.

3. If you have a timetable like mine (no class on Tuesday, average of 3 hours of classes each day with little or no gap in between), staying at home is much better option. What are you going to do in Uniten on that Tuesday?

4. No more feeling of homesickness.

5. Not having to deal with crazy/annoying/pengotor housemates.

6. Can sleep in my comfortable bed in an air-conditioned room every night.

7. Can watch TV! If you stay in Uniten's apartment and your housemate has a TV, you're lucky. If not, then you'll have to SHARE the TV in the television room.

8. You'll eat more healthily at home. In Uniten when I'm sick of those greasy, high-cholestrol food or too busy to dine in Alamanda, I'd live on a steady diet of Maggi or Brahims.

9. If I stay home, I can go to KLCC/Pavillion or any of my favourite malls anytime I want (when I'm free la). If I stay in Uniten, I'll have to wait til weekend to go to those places. The only malls near Uniten are Alamanda and Mines. Bor-ing.

10. No fire drills. (Why I hate fire drills so much--they rang the bell in the middle of the night and turn off the light. This is such a hassle especially if you have quiz/test the following day).

I hope this post will influence juniors to stay outside like me. Ha ha. Ade ke juniors read my blog? I don't think so.

My dream home

Was browsing through the Ikea catalogue just now. And designing my dream home in my head.

My future home will have lots of plush cushions, beautiful rugs, and those cute lamps and chandeliers. And I fell in love with this gorgeous but very expensive stainless steel bowl. I always fall in love with gorgeous, artistics (but totally useless) vases and bowls.

Mmm...the Swedish meatballs at the last page of the catalogue. Damn I'm hungry now.

A great day out

Today I decided to take a break from all the studying and projects and HAVE FUN with Mr.Y.

We went to Cineleisure, there's a huge IT hypermart there and I was looking for an external DVD drive for my cute mini laptop. A lot of choices there and I was debating whether to buy Samsung or LG. Finally, I settled for Samsung coz Mr.Y said that the LG DVD drive has high PC requirement and I don't really like the design either. It's made of white plastic and it looks cheap. The Samsung DVD drive on the other hand, is black and glossy and sleek. I like! I bought it for RM199 (in Ampang Point the price is RM299!).

OK why am I talking about DVD drives with such passion? Have I turned into a computer geek? I hope not. My laptop is pink. Geeks don't use pink laptops right?

We had lunch at Waroeng Penyet. It was my first time. Mr.Y had been there before. The food was awesome. I love the fried chicken with the little crumbs on top. And the sauce was superhot! Before I know it, snot were running down my nose. Nice.

Mr.Y kept on asking whether I enjoyed the food or not, and I said I enjoyed it very much. He asked if I want a second helping. I said what?! Then he said something like makan mesti puas2, and insist that I have a second helping, so I agreed. He ordered another basket of fried chicken and additional rice for me (ekk!). My bf always spoils me with food. How can I stay thin? Hahaha.

Then we went home. I managed to install Microsoft Office using my Samsung DVD drive! Yeay! The DVD drive is SUCH an investment! I was ecstatic coz, you know, a computer without Microsoft Office is NOTHING.

OK, gotta go back to projects, projects and more projects. Til the next entry, bubye!
