My blog looks deserted...

3 more lab reports...

1 assignment...

1 report...

1 proposal...

...and then I hope things will be back to normal and I can blog (and breathe) again.

Right now is the Malaysian Megasale, and I'm not broke for once (haha!), since staying at home and driving to class everyday had helped me saved a lot of money, particularly on food. So I can afford to shop every weekend!

2 THINGS THAT I'M INTO RIGHT NOW...

1) Twitter. It's so addictive. Sometimes I do try to blog, but the entries are always in short, Twitter-like form. So I didn't publish those posts.

2)Cute pretty dresses. I've bought 3 dresses at The Curve last week, and yesterday I almost bought FIVE but I refrained myself. Hehe.

Angry!!!

I'm pissed off at my mum.

Why?

I have this reinforced concrete design project. I had to design the whole friggin' 2 storey building, starting from the roof. This week I have to design the continuous beam. In order to do that, I need my last semester's notes.

But the thing is, after last semester ended, my mum cleaned my room without my consent and she rearranged everything and now I dunno where the friggin' hell my RC notes are!!!

Why does my mum has to be such a clean freak?

Bite sized updates...

  • There's this girl in my class, she proposed a title for her final year project. It's about USING SUGAR AS ADMIXTURE IN CONCRETE. Interesting huh? The purpose of that project is to study the setting time, etc.
  • I am so lazy to update my blog.
  • My driving has improved.
  • I am worried about Highway & Transport class. The lecturer used to teach Project Management. I got a B+ for Project Management, all my friends got A-. I got the feeling that I'm gonna score a B+ or lower for Highway&Transport, while my friends are gonna get A- or better. It's a 4 credit hour subject. I need at least an A-!!!!
  • It's the beginning of the semester and I'm SLACKING OFF.
  • I read all the project titles offered for this semester and I can't understand AT ALL what the projects are all about.Hehe.
  • Highway & Transport lab is fun!!! Heee...

Skincare tips from me

A few people had asked me what skincare products I'm using right now. They say my skin looks great. Yeke? I don't think my skin is flawless though. I can see huge pores, clogged pores, uneven skin tone, dull skin, dead skin cells, pimples, acne scars...the list goes on.

Anyway, since I have nothing better to do on a Saturday evening, I'll just tell share some skincare tips.

**You might find my tips boring as you've probably read about it a million times in magazines. But bear with me OK? Haha**

#1:Always follow a 3-step skincare regime
By that I mean always cleanse your face, followed by toner and lastly moisturizer. Twice a day (morning and night). Last time I never bother about 3-step skincare, I felt that a cleanser's enough to do the job. I found that once I started the 3-step skincare, my skin looks better.

Products I'm using:

Cleanser: L'OREAL WHITE PERFECT FACIAL FOAM
Toner: L'OREAL WHITE PERFECT TONER
Moisturizer: SIMPLE OIL BALANCING MOISTURIZER

Never forget your toner! Toner helps create great skin! It exfoliates dead skin cells.

And if you are willing to spend extra time (and money) to pamper your skin, you can use serum as well. I've just started using L'OREAL WHITE PERFECT RADIANCE BOOSTING DOUBLE ESSENCE coz I terpengaruh with the advertisement that says you can have pinkish skin after using it!

Lip & eye care

Eye care: CLINIQUE ALL ABOUT EYES...according to the product information, it can diminish lines,shadows,puffiness,circles...everything!

Lip care:NIVEA LIP CARE REPAIR & PROTECT...helps prevent and repair dry lips. This stuff seriously works! Has UV protection as well.

Extra

Once a week, I'll use a mask. I'm using FREEMAN FACIAL CLAY MASK (AVOCADO & OATMEAL)...my pores are always clogged and this stuff helps purge pores.

I scrub my face with GARNIER PURE-A ANTI-IMPERFECTION SCRUB WASH three times a week. Normally people should scrub twice a week. But my skin builds up dead skin cells easily so I scrub 3 times a week. This scrub helps keep acne at bay.

And when I get those annoying acne, I'll use GARNIER PURE-A SOS BLEMISH PEN.

To diminish acne scars, hydrate skin, prevent skin from aging, I use BIO OIL. It works like a miracle.

*Sigh* I have a truckload of skincare products...

Sorry no pictures. I'm tired after my industrial training presentation.

One thing on my wishlist...crossed!

Went to Jln TAR with my mum and aunts, shopping for raya clothes. It was fun, but tiring. We stopped at almost every single store on the street. My mum and aunt bought lots and lots of tudung, some material to make baju kurung, and much much more. As for me, I had no intention of buying anything, but if I happen to find a kebaya sulam with a reasonable price, then I might buy it (I’ve always wanted one).

The kebaya sulam sold at Jln TAR are exactly like those sold at Amcorp Mall, Ampang Park etc. Those kebaya were priced at around RM200-300. And then...I found this shop called “PORTOBELLO” (haha as in Portobello Market, London) and they sell kebaya sulam for RM120!! That’s a good price to me, coz usually for kebaya sulam, just the top will cost around RM150. The kebaya sold at Portobello cost RM120 for the whole set (top, bottom and even a shawl!).

I bought one in peach.

Had lunch at this place called Restoran Insaf. Fattening, high cholesterol chicken briyani. When I got home I weighed myself and I had gained 2 kg. Sumpah I insaf tak nak makan kat tempat tu lagi.
