1.I think she's supersmart. Haha. Why? Coz she passed her PTS. Do you guys remember PTS? Can't remember what it stands for, but people used to take that exam in Standard 3.And she passed it and she didn't have to go through Standard 4. What a genius. I flunked my PTS. Oh, and she's a law student and I really salute that. During my training, I have to learn to read contracts and it's like learning a new language so in my opinion, law is a very tough subject and you'll have to be really intelligent to take it. Oh, cuz, I puji you too much is it? Are you embarassed while reading this?

2.She's cute.It runs in the family. Hahaha,OK2...I'm joking. She's cute. I'm not.

3.She's funny. And her blog makes me laugh too. Not the sad posts la, only the happy2 ones.

4.She has a great fashion sense.This girl practically looks good in everything.If I were to wear some of the clothes that she has on, I would have looked PREGNANT. Seriously.

5.She's cool. I know this sounds cliche, random, whatever, but this is my honest opinion.

1.I love white chocolate. You can say it's too sweet, but I love it!

2.At the moment I am a regular customer of Juice Works. I'm addicted to their so-called health drinks. I don't know whether it's true they can cure certain illnesses or not, but they taste so damn good!

3.I am an obsessive, compulsive, crazy handbag whore.

4.I am responsible, self-discipline (except when it comes to dieting), serious and hard working. I work my ass off to get whatever I want, and sometimes I tend to put too much pressure on myself, which leads to bad cases of PMS.

5.I blush very easily...it's a curse! Whenever something embarassing happens, I always try to make the situation funny and act as if I'm cool with it, but my face betrays me!

6.I don't know what is it with the cosmetic brand Clinique, but I'm their loyal customer! Whenever I had burned all my money on their products, I always tell myself "OK, I will stop buying Clinique products after this." But a few months later, they will give a foundation sample, and I tried it on, and I love how it looks and feel on my skin, and I'm going to buy it!

7.Current hobbies: Restaurant City and Pet Society. I know what you'll think. What a life,right?

8.My eyesight is as bad as a pig's. I need Bilberry now! And those pinhole glasses.

9.I cut my own fringe. Coz the hairdresser always get it wrong!

10.My patience with my back-door neighbour is running thin because she's always singing during Maghrib and she has been doing that since I was 7 years old!!!

2.Zarith-my coursemate in Uniten whom I clicked with immediately right after meeting her in Environmental Engineering lab.She only blogs in Malay, and I like her blog coz sometimes she talks about intelligent stuffs like current issues etc.

How to make your curls last all night

If you have thick, straight, stubborn and very difficult to style hair like mine, follow these tips for long-lasting curls (or in my case, it is more like WAVES)...

You'll need:
-Curling iron (I used Phillips Salon Multistylist)
-Hair curling product (I used Lucido-L Designing Aqua Hair Curl Lotion)
-Hair wax (I used Lucido-L Designing Pot Round Ridge)
-Hair spray (I used Lucido-L Hair Spray Super Hard)
-Lots of patience

1. Gather a lock of hair. To make curls tighter, separate hair into smaller locks.

2.Apply some hair curling product (it can be in the form of spray or mousse...your choice) on your hair. Always apply it on each lock of hair before you are going to style it. Don't immediately apply the hair product all over your hair.

3.Curl your hair with curling iron for about 10 seconds.

4.Remove curling iron from hair, and spritz some hairspray on the curl.

5.Secure the curl using rollers.

6.Repeat steps 1-5.

7.Release rollers, and apply some curling hair wax.

8.Wear those rollers again! Wear them for 1 whole friggin day.

9.Remove the rollers, and spritz lots of hairspray (yes!again!).

10.Pray that your curl will last.

Actually I wanted this post to be called "How to Make Your Curls Last All Day" but since I couldn't make my curls last all day (only 5 minutes), I decided to make some changes. I had to wear rollers for an entire day. So I think I can only opt for curly hair if the special occasion is at night!

Dream come true

The first ever Accessorize store will be opened in Malaysia and guess where will it be??

KLCC!

My dad is excited too about Accessorize opening its first store in KLCC. HA HA!

And Subway will be opening another outlet there as well :)

I've always loved KLCC and now I love it even more!

My mum told me to use the new L'Oreal Transparent Rosy Whitening thing, so that I don't get pigmentation as I get older. Hmm...

I've been busy

The reason why I haven't updated for a week is because I've been taking care of not one, but TWO cats and I have a restaurant to run too!

Yes!!!No kidding!

Cat #1 is the naughty little monster Koko at home. That cat is alive. Cat #2 is the virtual Koko on Facebook Pet Society.

Guys, meet the virtual Koko!


Ahh...she's so cute. Looks almost like the real thing. Same large blue eyes. But the real Koko isn't all brown. She has white fur as well.

Unlike my friends' pet, virtual Koko isn't wearing any fancy clothes. In fact, she isn't wearing anything at all. That's because she's poor. I've been trying to save coins to buy those gorgeous (but expensive) pink furnitures, so I have to cut down on clothes. At the moment she's only wearing bunny slippers. My aunt who's playing Pet Society too donated a simple t-shirt to Koko.Haha.

I've been feeding virtual Koko vegetables only. This cat is vegetarian! Haha. Terpaksa. Coz she's poor.

This is Koko's house. It's so simple. Can't wait to get rich so that I can splurge on those furnitures and gadgets!!

Oh, and this is my restaurant on Restaurant City. At the moment I serve only the following food:

Tomato & Basil soup
Garden salad
Margarita pizza
Fruits
Strawberry cake

What I've always wanted

I've always wanted a kebaya nyonya.

But it always cost a few hundreds and out of my family's Raya budget, and even if I can afford it, it's hard to find a size that fits.

For this year's Raya I hope that I will own a pair of kebaya nyonya. I don't want the see-through one (I might as well go out wearing kain batik and a tube top!). I want the sopan one. Hehe.

3D 2N in JB

The reason why this blog is deserted for a week is because my dad decided to go back to JB and dragged me along with him.Ha ha.

My grandma has Astro now. But she doesn't have MTV/E/StarWorld/Channel V so I'm still pretty bored. So I'd have to settle for Travel&Living channel, watching mat salehs eat starfish and mice. Nice.

Coincidently, May 10th, which is Mother's Day, also happens to be my grandma's birthday. My aunt planned a birthday dinner, but the problem is, my grandma only likes to eat her own cooking and hates eating out. But my persuasive aunt managed to coax her to go.

We ate at this place called DANN'S CAFE. Their specialty is nasi beriyani. The deco of the restaurant is very Middle Eastern, and they play those miserable Malay songs (Fantasia Bulan Madu, Di Persimpangan Dilema, Teringin etc.) but with a Middle Eastern twist! Using that string instrument that Arabs play, what is it called? Sitar?

I had chicken chop. Not bad. Small portion, and it's grilled, perfect for dinner.

When PMS kicked in...

I'm living with my dad since my mum's gone back to JB. The house seems very quiet. Somehow I feel like an orphan, missing one parent :(

I'm lonely. And I have this awful feeling. I don't know what it is. Maybe I'm just being paranoid? Maybe I've been thinking too much? Maybe it's the crazy hormones?

I'm looking forward to go to work on Monday!! Pelik kan? I've been waiting for this long weekend ever since I started working, and now I want to be at the office. I guess it's because I'm so lonely at home.

I can't wait to go to work but I'm not prepared yet for the meeting with my supervisor!

What I bought with my birthday money...

After keeping my birthday money safely in my piggy bank for ages (well, 3 months to be exact), I finally found some things I like (and need), so today I spent it.

Went to KLCC. All the way I was thinking, "It's recession Nana! What the hell are you doing in a shopping mall??" But another voice told me that if I don't buy those things I want, I will experience sleepless nights.

So I bought these things:

This bag is from Dorothy Perkins. I've always wanted a bag like this. Black, spacious, err...durable. Don't know how to describe it. But it fits the bill of The Bag I Want.

Clinique All About Eyes eye cream, Anti-Blemish Clearing Concealer, free toiletries pouch and free moisturizer.

By the way, I would strongly recommend this book. It's the bestest Little Black Dress book ever!

Anyone who has had their heart broken by an evil ex will enjoy this! It's funny, the way Maddy(the main character) plots revenge against her ex, Carlton. The writer did a really great job in potraying Carlton as the biggest jerk on the planet, I'm sure you'll hate him as much as I do!Hehe.

This book also send out the message that life has its ups and downs. Just because your life is in the dumpster doesn't mean you're fated to be like that forever. You'll just have to work hard and have a positive mental attitude to suceed. This is a chick lit and motivational book rolled into one.

Anyway...

My mum has gone back to JB...for a week! Errk. This coming week will be a Modern Wife Training Module for me. Office work + house chores.

Go to work, come home and do the laundry, clean the house...and now that my mum's gone I'll have to be Koko's mummy. That cat is supernice to me now. She doesn't even try to scratch me. Ha! That's because she's stuck with me and my mum's not home!
