Oversharing with the Internet since 2007

Thursday, March 25, 2010

Great day!

Had an awesome day. Went to Amcorp Mall with my bf. Book Xcess has relocated and the new store is about 3 times bigger! I want almost all the books there. Too bad I don't have enough money.

My purchases:

Shopaholic Abroad by Sophie Kinsella (RM 17.90)

Shopaholic Ties the Knot by Sophie Kinsella (RM 17.90)

Shopaholic & Baby by Sophie Kinsella (RM19.90)

The Wedding Girl by Madeleine Wickham (RM 19.90)...FYI, Madeleine Wickham is Sophie Kinsella. I'm a huge fan of her.

The Gatecrasher by Madeleine Wickham (RM24.90)

Sephora: The Ultimate Guide to Makeup, Skin, Hair From the Beauty Authority by Melissa Schweiger (RM29.90)

There were lotsss of books on beauty and style, and I want them all!!! Next visit, maybe.

Next, we went to Sunway Pyramid. I got my Nokia 5530 recently. However, I was unable to use the wifi at home. At Pyramid, I was scanning through the available wireless networks and then I found an unsecured network named "Ayam Penyet Ria." Aha! I stood in front of the restaurant and used the wireless, and it worked!!! For the first time, I managed to surf the Internet on my mobile phone using wifi, thanks to Ayam Penyet Ria! Then I decided that it's not proper to stand in front of the restaurant using its wifi, so I went in and ordered Soda Gembira and downloaded a few cool apps on my phone.

I'm sick of eating ayam penyet, but I'm willing to eat more ayam penyet after this as I'm really grateful to Ayam Penyet Ria. Because of Ayam Penyet Ria, I no longer have to worry that my phone having any connectivity defects (it's the wifi at home that's the problem).

So, thank you Ayam Penyet Ria!
