Final year project survey

My final year project requires lots of surveys to be done among schoolchildren, Uniten students and the public. Yesterday and today I did some surveys among Uniten students, but the result isn't complete yet! I still have to do 6 more surveys (I lost 1 completed survey form...hu hu).

Hmm...wanna know what are my findings? Not my findings about my project title, I won't bore you guys with the details. But my findings on the behaviour of students. When conducting the surveys, I got to meet lots of juniors (first year & second year students). Civil, electrical power and electrical & electronics students are sooo polite! IT and computer science students...hmm so-so. But the mechanical engineering students (I'm talking about juniors only okay, so I hope my friends won't flip out!)...hmm they're rude and harder to approach.

Today I did some surveys among the public. I only managed to go to 13 houses only due to time constraint. Cooperation from the people was OK. I brought my 2 PAs with me (my boyfriend and my mum). Both of them enjoy doing my project more than I do. I encountered many kind of people. Som interesting types...

1. Friendly old men. This type gave the best cooperation!

2. Pakcik who is vain and couldn't stop talking, and acted as if he's being interviewed by TV3. He gave long explanantion to each question, and I couldn't proceed to the next question until he shut up. I was taking some pictures of the surrounding areas of his house, and he insisted that I took some pictures of his grape vine. OK lah pakcik, whatever makes you happy.

So in conclusion, the pakciks are the best people to conduct surveys on!

I haven't analyze the results yet, but I can say that Bandar Baru Bangi residents have high level of awareness. They really care about the environment. They are even willing to stop using tissues and plastic bags! At first I thought, "How can you survive without tissue?" Their answer? Use a hanky!
